On November 2, 2013, The Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce & the Record-Courier selected our council as Service Club of the Year.
Mormon Station Horseshoe Pits
- On June 20, 2012, our council built a horseshoe pit at the Mormon Station Nevada State Park as a community service project.
Relay for Life Breakfast
On August 5, 2012, over 100 breakfasts were provided to the various teams who participate in the overnight Relay for Life walk raising money for cancer research.
Breakfast included scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage.
Dedicated Bingo for City of Refuge
The September 14, 2012, Knights Bingo was dedicated to the City of Refuge located in the beautiful Pine-nut Valley of Carson Valley. City of Refuge is a faith-based, non-profit home for pregnant women. They are supported by people in the community, and across the nation. They receive no funding from the government. The knights donated $1000 from the proceeds of this bingo.
